i don’t know how to use craigslist, and i don’t have an ebay account, so my only option here is going to gamestop to get robbed by their ridiculous trade in system. Can anyone tell me how much i’ll get if i trade in:

1.) An xbox 360 Pro with a 20gb harddrive
2.) two wireless controllers
3.) a play and charge kit
4.) VGA cable
5.) call of duty: modern warfare 2

7.) dj hero (with turntable)

Further, there is a deal going on now that says if i trade in 6 xbox 360 games, i get an extra 40% on thier trade in value. i have exactly six games, so whatever the value of those six together are gets boosted up an extra 40%. Also, i have an edge card that adds an extra 10% trade in value to all trade ins.

i know that’s alot of information, but can anyone give me an accurate estimate of how much i’ll get for all of this? i’m looking to buy a ps3, and i’m eager to get rid of all of this stuff.

In my dream, I finally decided to let my friend take me to a party. It was in a maybe a 10 story building, and everyone took the elevator to the top floor, but for some odd reason I was scared to take the elevator so I stood there looking at it and ended up sitting on the stairs, as I was sitting there, a person who i am guessing was the dj because he had turntables with him. The guy though had dreads and was tall and just beautiful, at first he kind of ignored me and took his turntables to the party and came back downstairs and asked me to take the stairs with him, after that my dream went to me and my friend that bought me and the dj were all in a bed. They were laying next to each other and I was laying perpendicular to them at their feet (not exactly my dream scenario). during the middle of the night i heard him whisper my name in my ear and reach over to touch my shoulder, and it felt so real that it was like he was right there I felt the touch on my shoulder and immediately woke up.

Its just so weird that I felt him so close, like i knew him.

and in real life, i dont go out much and i make up excuses not to go out with my friends.

I was wondering if using CD turntables as opposed to regular turntables are accepted in the DJ world. My friend DJs sometimes at some pretty big clubs in downtown Miami and I was wondering if the top DJs use vinyl or CDs, and is using CDs looked down upon? Are those that use CDs not really considered DJs?

It’s from Gem Sound which I assume is a cheap brand. I’m a beginning in every sense of the word, I haven’t scratched a day in my life. I been producing hip hop for about 3 years and I just want something where I can play old records on and maybe do some mild scratching on.
Will this be okay for me?

its a coffin 6 foot by 2 foot…. 100 pounds… its a dj coffin wth all my turntables… how can i get it to mexico city… does the airlines charge too much?

I was wondering if anyone knew how I can record the mixes I do and transfer them onto a cd. Is there a certain machine I need for that? If so..what? how much? where can I get it?

also if you know any good quality dj mixing software that can communicate with cd turntables please let me know.

dj shadow’s endtroducing has over 150 samples in his album. you have to make you beats or songs without using vocals or any other instruments except an obsolete sampler and the turntable. you have to go through thousands of songs to find the right tune to paste in your song. to show you the magnitude of his sampling work , i’ll show all of the examples. why does some dj;s use laptops with them? what would be a good set of tables for a biggener?

ok im 16 years old and I am Going to buy a turntable so I can lean how to Be a Turntablist/D.J.
I want to D.J with Vinyl so if Buy this package Do I need anything else besides this to D.J. like do you have to have a Computer to have this turntable work I see D.J’s that have there laptop connected to theres or is it because they are using music that is on there Laptop?

Ok, I am a 13 year old who has been producing hip hop music sence 10 years old, i have a myspace (www.myspace.com/kornproductionz) and I have been using the same stuff to make beats for 2 years straight and i need new stuff. All this I am asking for all needs to be able to hook up to the computer…Here is a list of everything i need…

1) DJ turntable starter kit
2) Fruity Loops (Newest Version)
3) A recording micrphone w/stand and whisper catcher.
4) Some kind of graphic maker for albums.

i’m using a shuttle sn68sg2 desktop barebone and i just got the package of 4 gigs ram, 2.67 Ghz processor ~1 mb cache. and it has apparently a highdef 7.1 audio card. but i want to get a better one. i control it via virtual dj and a little hercules usb controller (the djcontrol mp3) then i’m running the comp into a Korg Kaoss pad mini(but i’ll get a kp3 one day).
so how good is that b/c i heard computer djs don’t really get taken as seriously as the old school turntable djs or any other dj lol
