How do you get the DJ to play good music?
I’ve been to some dances where the music isn’t the greatest to dance to. How can I leave recommendations that the DJ may actually take into consideration?

Or is it only compatible with the Dj Hero turntable?

It was only a matter of time before the guitar hero makers developed a game aimed at the hip-hop and electronic music audience. Apparently the game uses a turntable with buttons on it that you have to scratch in sync with the track, and also includes a crossfader and effects switch.
And DJ Shadow and Daft Punk will be playable characters.
RHH2: Favourite hip-hop DJ?
I’m new to this whole “USB turntable” thing and don’t really have any idea what they’re capable of, other than the fact that you can transfer your record collection to CD or MP3 format via a computer. Websites with detailed info. would be fantastic…I’m not a DJ or anything. I just like vinyl records better than the sanitized modernism of CDs; call me old fashioned.
Thanks in advance for all the help.
ok so I have a Numark iM1.

I have hooked up everything to the mixer
1.) Left turntable
–Audio Output Cables = Phono Input (RCA) CH1
–Ground Wire = Grounding Terminal CH1
2.) Right Turntable
–Audio Output Cables = Phono Input (RCA) CH2
–Ground Wire = Grounding Terminal CH2
3.)House Amp
–RCA cables = Master Output (RCA)
And all of thethe power cords to all of the
but for some reason I cant hear any sound out of the speakers. It might be the Grounding Terminal, cause in the instructions it doesn’t really show you how to hook the cord on the turntable to the Grounding terminal, so I just screwed it on there.
If ANYONE can, PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!! : )
I’ve had this Turntable for 5 days and STILL have not been able to use it. If the link would help you at all please use it.
THANKS =)
and what’s better? ipod dj or just a turntable?
This may sound stupid to most people, but I recently came into some vinyls via giveaways in magazines, handed down from my dad and I purchased some myself. I don’t however have anything to play them on. I have a friend who DJ’s and I know he has some spare turntables, would I be ok to play the different sized vinyls on these. You see, I have some 7″ and some 10″ vinyls, i know you can get 12″ as well, but I don’t know if different ones play on different machines, any help please? I know it’s quite a simple question.
Can you use a regular xbox 360 controller or can you use a Rockband/Guitar Hero control? Or is it only the turntable.
I need it to play DIGITAL music files from my laptop, but I need to come in a DDJ pack or something please can someone tell me where I can get this!!!
I’m a little confused on something here.
I hear a lot of good music online (I check out samples) and when I’m ready to purchase it, I don’t know where I should get a record or a cd (I’m an aspiring deejay)
I spoke to a record store manager the other day and asked him would it be alright if I was a dj who spin discs instead of records. He told me no because people wouldn’t take me seriously. It’s just the art of a dj spinning records, because that’s how it always been.
Well not so long ago, I put this CD tempo thingy on layaway at the pawn shop. I’m putting down payments on it now. But I also would want to get turntables. But the thing is…I don’t know if I want to play records, CDs or both….honestly, I like CDs better because they have a lesser chance of scratching than records do….I like records because they just look so good & original, plus they kind of cool…after all, what’s a dj without records?
The question to you all is…can I play both records & CDs (not at the same time)…but at the same party. I would like to have a large record & CD collection by 2011.
Any answers will do. Thanks, you all.
Can I scratch away or will that damage the records? Do i need something special if i want to scratch?
I HAve old Record and want A DJ Station
DJ Hero. Same creators as Guitar Hero.

Supposed to include tracks from a lot of hiphop artists, like Jay-Z, Beastie Boys, even Eminem. These music simulator games are actually pretty cool in my opinion. Instead of a guitar like Guitar Hero, you will have turntables and a mixer. I think a mic will be included as well. Not sure, its not being released until October this year.
