A turntable program
A turntable program
I’m in the process in buying some technics turntables used to spin house music but what is the difference between Technics SL-1200MK2 and Technics SL1200M3D turntable? Does it really matter which one I choose because I’m just a beginning dj. Just want to make sure I”m getting the right one for the house music style.
I am buying a turntable as a gift for a friend, so I need to know what brand does the best out of all
Thank You
I’ve been in music and art all my life and I’m wanting to start doing the dj thing.
I need some advice…
What brands are good and should I start with cd mixers or turntables?
1)for double sided records..do both sides work when you dj…?
2) can regular records work on turntables?
3) how do you put a beat of one song onto another song? how?
4) can u make an accapella out of a song by taking it beat away? if so how?
do you think the turntable is finally becoming recognised ad an actual musical instument? and the dj a musician? i mean real djing, not just pitching and fading, and not just scratching, creative stuff, like z-trip, and andy smith
i wanted to be a dj, but i also realized that i need records or something but im not sure if dj’s upload their music onto the mixer or if they have to buy records to play music…
will anyone please tell me because i realy want to know know before buying my turntables and mixer
I’m gonna get some basic direct drives – I’d love 1210’s but moneys tight.
I’m thinking of getting Stanton T62’s with straight arm cos I like scratching. Anyone used these?
Another I’m thinking of is Numark’s basic ones – I think they’re TT1562, or something like that.
Both are around £250 mark. Anyone used either and can give me some feedback?
Cheers
1. My question to you is, how can I posibly get rid of the feedback when mixing on computer?
2. Im trying to do some live mixing with a little bit of editing but the way I do it I record 2 tracks at once. Plus I get more feedback cuz i’m recording within the program. How can I do edits so that the song I have on there doesnt interfier with the song im trying to mix live, plus catch the beat?
3. What is the best program out ther for feedback? I tried one program and it sucked. I’t didn’t remkove any feedback pop or clicks.
Its hard for me to explain. So just try to answer it as best as you can. Thanks.
Ok, Basically i Will be out of high school, And yeah I love music and wanted to get a set of turntables and a mixer, I’ve had Vinyl (not anymore) And I loved them but now everyone use Mp3 Turntables. First, are there any good PC turntables, Second, How do you connect them? Which is the right interface?
i use stantons, i like the layout, and the strength of the motor
whats your preference?
i dont want to hear from a whole bunch of tech 1200’s loyalists with no reason for liking them other than eveyone else uses them
I’m a complete beginner DJ, only wanting to bedroom mix and scratch but I’m unsure on what controller, cd pair or pair to of turntables to buy.
http://www.djstore.com/item/startersystems/numbattlepack.htm
very interested in this package, but i want to know more about them, and have an expert opinion.
i have no vinyls, but am wondering would that matter if the kit comes with a mixer that has an ipod dock? Like i have said, I am a complete noob on the subject, but i’m finding it very hard and frustrating to find any information on the internet.
i want to know:
.Do turntables need vinyls? is there any way around that?
.What would be the best purchase?
.what would be the best purchase if i will be scratching mostly (cd, usb controller and turntable)
Please don’t criticize my lack of education on the subject, I’m just looking for solid information, instead of being messed around
thanks
P.S. Where would you suggest as the best place to purchase vinyls? if they are needed, and any personal favourites that are good for scratching and mixing?
And any information on Cd mixers would be wonderful, i am worried that i might be barking up the wrong tree with what i want, to do with the turntables
also contemplating buying a Vestax USB Spin controller, i’ve heard very very good things about this product.
i dont see anything that great about them at allll.
i was thinking of buying the Technics SL-DZ1200 Digital turntable, because il just be using cd’s not vinyls, and again it has a very sleek look. has anyone out there worked with this brand, or does anyone know of a better brand?
