ION Audio iCUE MP3 Computer Music Mixing Station with Software
I just wanna mix a few electronic music mixes, basically like on-screen DJ decks. any suggestions for programmes? I’d be very greatful
What are your thoughts? Think before you answer. Consider what each one can do and what progressions can be made in the future. What do you think is the future for DJ’s? Will it stay vinyl all the way or will MP3’s take over?
I dont have much money either. If anyone knows of any free dj software that i could use?
Hey guys!
I need to mix 2 songs together with one of those turntable scratchy noises in between them. Can anyone help me out? Am I able to do it on Garageband (on a Mac)?
If anyone knows any programs I can use or can give me any tips that’d be great! I need to have the song by tomorrow because it’s for a show im in on Thursday!
Any and allll tips are welcome!!!
i have 2 turntables and a mixer
the mixer has rca outputs
wat do i use or wat do i buy 2 record mixes into my laptop
I have the software virtual dj but i dont have any turntables or anything and i was wondering what was the best starter package for someone like me! thanks for the help!
I have a record collection that I want to save on CD and want to aviod purchasing one of those expensive DJ models.
I also would like to see if there is an outfit that does this kind of work and I wouldn’t need the turntable.
My main problem is that I live in Spain.
I a dj I would like to hook up a turntable to upload some of my records.
I wanna just use a software for my computer i dont want to have any additional hardware like a turntable or mixer. is there any software that lets me do that
i have virtual dj but all the tutorials show you need like external hardware
I want to get into dj’ing and i need a mixerr, preferably with built in turntables, that i can use with my itune library. Does anyone know of a good product like that?
Also what other eqipment do i ned if i want to get into djing
I mean is there some kind of way where I use some kind of cd turntable device which is connected to my pc, and i make loops on the spinning cd’s etc. i guess sort of how Dj’s do with vinyl? What kind of device would i use? and what software would I have to use? I am totally new to this but I’ve always wanted to mix music like this especially because I live where spinning those black dj discs are kind of impossible to find. I’ve been using acoustica mixcraft and mp3’s but its kind of not giving me the magic i want to feel…any ideas?
Basically, I know what it is obviously you put the two CDs in your turntable (unless u have vinyl) connect it to the box then laptop then just drag mp3 on the computer n boom. Couple questions though, 1. Can you use programs like Virtual DJ or does it just have its own program your only allowed to use and if you can use multiple programs which one is the best? 2. For most DJ programs, the BPM is read and when you drag a song, it automatically matches the BPM, or theres a one-click feature for that, do the DJ Programs that are compatible with the Serato Scratch live have that feature? and 3. Stupid question not expecting to get a solid answer but where’s the cheapest I could find it? So Far I’ve found it for around 500 on eBay. Thank you.
give me prices and sites to find these things, and what wires id need to hook it up, not looking to spend a lot, plus i think id need a program on my comp too…any package deals online?
I have two stanton direct drive turntables and a stanton mixer, the mixer has no way to connect to a computer but say I get a mixer like the Numark M1 with USB connection will I be able to use my tables in a program like virtual dj or MUST I get a rane serato interface to connect?
hi.
i’m using a shuttle sn68sg2 desktop barebone and i just got the package of 4 gigs ram, 2.67 Ghz processor ~1 mb cache. and it has apparently a highdef 7.1 audio card. but i want to get a better one. i control it via virtual dj and a little hercules usb controller (the djcontrol mp3) then i’m running the comp into a Korg Kaoss pad mini(but i’ll get a kp3 one day).
so how good is that b/c i heard computer djs don’t really get taken as seriously as the old school turntable djs or any other dj lol
I’d like to buy equipment so I can do computer DJ-ing, but I noticed most of computer controller scratching wheels sizes are small. Is there any computer DJ controller product under $500 with actual size turntable wheel and the latency of actual ‘old-school’ vinyl turntable ?
Thanks.
(cont.) vinyl records on my turntables. I want to be able to compose entire mix sets. Any programs that you can recommend or suggest?
I’m looking to start DJing and I’m just trying to find the right direct drive turntables that would work with a laptop. I’m not sure if all of them are able to work with a laptop or not because I see some that say usb and others do not. If you could give me some input on what ones do and don’t I would really appreciate it.
Also I’m trying to keep it around a $200-250 budget for one individual turntable. (gonna buy two of course)
Here is the one I found online and if you could also tell me if it would work with a computer than I would appreciate it. http://www.planetdj.com/i–TT-200
Thanks everyone!!
