What’s the best way to get Virtual Dj or Virtual Vinyl (Dj programs) online for free? I have tried those youtube videos that tell me to click on the link and download it, but after i download it, it has an error.
Also is limewire safe, if so what should i look for in a safe download from limewire to download the program?
I usually mix music on my computer, i’ve been doing it for a couple of years so i’m not new at mixing music.
I’m just money tight.
So I want to know what is the cheapest (and wont break down) Dj equipment I should get?
Pioneer? Numark? Actual turntables? or CDJs?
And what should I expect to spend?
Hi my boyfriend is a retired DJ he still loves his turntables but has a lot of new music that he’s been able to download and doesn’t have on vinyl, i’d like to get him the best ipod mixer (reasonably priced) i can for his 40th in June but i don’t know what is best, i have heard of Numark idj and idj2 but i don’t know which is better or if they are for amateurs, is there better out there?
thank you so much for being so informative and helpful, he has an ipod nano 3rd generation
My Stanton carts have served me well over the years as an on-and-off house DJ and I’m looking for alternatives. Though Ortofon Concordes can be pricey, I just need an opinion on what to get since my pair of Pioneers CDJ 800s are slowly running my spinning skills to chopped liver.
I have turntables and want something simple, but clear and somewhat punchy for my home. This is strictly for my personal enjoyment, so does not have to be pro. I have some old Sony 15″ speakers, but don’t know how to power them properly. What amp should I get, or should I just get a package deal of the whole set up?
I have the software virtual dj but i dont have any turntables or anything and i was wondering what was the best starter package for someone like me! thanks for the help!
I have no dj experience at all and all I have is a computer. I’d like to start mixing audio and trying to make some techno mixes. Is there any software that someone would recommend? I have no experience and I don’t have turntables either. Thank you!
Hello,
I have always been into electronic music and want to get started into DJing. I have a very strong musical background and can play just about any instrument you hand me.
Unfortunately, I do not have any turntables or mixers, or money to buy any, and was wondering if there are any good computer programs that allow me to mix music strictly electronically from music files already on my computer.
I have a stack of old records of my parents and grandparents from way back. Right now I have an old ’70s RCA tabletop receiver with a built-in turntable. The speaker outputs are shot so I’m looking for a new turntable with all three speeds 33, 45, & 78. I’m not a DJ so I don’t need fancy switches and buttons, etc. Just something with an on/off switch and a speed switch. I’ll just be listening for normal pleasure in a my home. What are the best brands of record players? Cartridges? Needles? What do they cost? From experience, how long do they last? I’m trying to build an entire stereo from scratch so I want the best. Thanks so much!!!
I’ve bought cheap pieces of crap for $100 that sound very bad. Such as Emerson, the “sad excuse for being classic” Crosley replicas, etc. I only want the stand alone turntable, not an all-in-one set-up.
I am going to a music shop at the weekend, i have £200 to spend on a single turntable for scratching and mixing, i want to connect them to virtual dj. There were three i was looking at the Numark TT200, the Gemini TT-O3 or the Stanton T80. Which one should I go for?
Currently I have a ION usb turntable and it feels to cheap and light. I’m looking to get a better turntable but I’m not sure exactly what to get. I’m just wanting to listen to records at home, not do any dj’ing. I would be running the table through a Sony mini shelf system. I’ve been thinking about getting a technics even though they are a bit expensive.
I need to ship turntables (2), mixer, dj coffin, stand, and two crates of records to Ft. McMurray, AB, Canada. I would like to find a shipper that will package it for me as well, to ensure it arriving intact. Would like to ship as cheaply as possible but also reliably, any ideas?
I would like to start on turntables but its too expensive a risk in case i don’t get heavily involved in it. Also I’m at uni so can’t afford to splurge.
I’ll also accept any other recommendations I may have missed.
I don’t want to remix songs, I just want to mix them!!! need one simple program that allow me to play non stop music (for example, virtual turntables or tactille12000)
oh! and it has to be freeware!!!!
im only 14 so im pretty young with not that much money but i am gettting serious about becoming a dj. which one should i choose?? unless u have a better choice
I have $200 to spend and want to get the highest quality mp3s. I imagine I’d need a USB preamp, but what is the best to get for a pc? And what works with my budget?
I’m a digital DJ so I’d prefer a direct-drive turntable to belt-driven.
