SHould a mobile dj at a party for your work or with friends have a tip jar? What should a dj get tipped for? How much is an appropriate tip?
I use as primary sound card a Creative Audigy. This is for speakers output. How do I activate the on board Realtek HD soundcard, to use it for monitoring the 2nd CD player in the headphones, when using Virtual DJ? I have tried, all other options described in user guide. If I succeed in activating the on board Realtek soundcard, will I experience some “sound conflicts” when using a normal media player, or watching a movie?
What’s the best way to get Virtual Dj or Virtual Vinyl (Dj programs) online for free? I have tried those youtube videos that tell me to click on the link and download it, but after i download it, it has an error.

Consider the DJ needs to setup and take down heavy equipment, but a Photographer must also attend the wedding. A DJ needs to be at the reception hours before the gig to set up the equipment, and sort requests. A Photographer has to be familiar with the family to know who to take pictures of. A good memory is a must. A DJ must know who wrote what song, to know what to play diffefant generations of people. And so on…

I just skimmed through the DJ equipment listed, 220 Euros for a Pioneer CDJ 1000 Mk3?!?! That is a $1300 CD turntable, I’m sure the cost to make it is more than that. And then for an even more expensive piece of DJ equipment the Pioneer DVJ 1000 they want even less than the CDJ 1000, and the DVJ 1000 is worth $3000 new.
I want to put together a turntable system. I’m planning on buying a 100 watt per channel receiver. How do I correctly match it to a set of speakers? What should I look for in speakers so that they will go as loud as possible without being damaged? Do you look for Ohms? Watts? Do 100 watt speakers match up with a 100 watt receiver or are the power outputs calculated differently? How does that work? I am horrible a choosing the right equipment for DJing. I have the skill from mixing on Pioneer turntables but i don’t really have the money to buy anything like that for personal use. I don’t want to buy a cheap piece of junk that will break in a couple of days but i hope i can find a good deal with something i can scratch on.

I have a Dell Inspiron 2650 (probably from 2002) running Windows XP home, 512 ram, 80 gb hdd. Due to space constraints, I am considering using a laptop to DJ instead of the conventionals. Is there any way I can set it up on this machine? I am also willing to get a new one, though preferrably something less than $800.

Alright so I’m brand new to dj-ing and need a few questions cleared up! I have virtual dj and need to buy turntables….im looking at the denon tt-200 and the denon tt-1650 so which one is better? also im looking to buy the dxm06 mixer so how does that sound? My first question is dealing with virtual dj…….i dont understand how the whole vinyl record thing works and what time coded vinyls are or do? Do you just buy a blank vinyl, put it on the deck, and play the music through virtual dj and just scratch and crossover with the records? or do you have to actually put songs on the records? Serato is def out of the question, i know its the best but i cant afford it! Any answers to these questions is most appreciated and I will give out points to the best helpful person out there;) THANKS!!!!!!!

My son’s birthday is coming up soon, and I wanted to throw a party for him (of course 
. Last year we rented a pavilion in a local park that was really nice. We we able to bring DJ turntables, grill all the food, and it was really nice outside. Oh and we got a bounce house. The park is available agian this year, so that’s one of the otp ideas.
I also looked online just now at Chuck E. Cheeses but I just don’t know if I like that. The costs are probably similar. So I’m open to all your ideas. I want to spend around $175-250 max.
He’s really into the Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles right now, so I was thinking of maybe renting a ranger costume, and making an appearance…

Hello everyone,
My team has developed a seasonal event titled “SpinnFest” it is a DJ Battle/Benefit Concert. Includes Celebrity DJs battling on turntables followed by Performances from “A” Listers like PitBull, DJ Quik, Snoop Dogg among others. It is expected to attract thousands of attendees and massive promotional activity over the radio and print is already in place. This is a festival style setting and is planned for an in or outdoor venue in Southern California. The idea/media kit has been branded, copyrighted, finically analyzed by experts and looked over by lawyers and that was the easy part!!
The challenge is getting sponsors for the event. We have had meetings with Ad agencies and tried going directly to corporate sponsors ourselves with no response.
I ask, does anyone have ideas, resources or even interest in working with our group?

This is what im looking at, im getting Dj Hero for sure and for some reason I dont have rockband or guitar hero yet…(how sad i know) well dj hero can be played with turntable vs guitar so that means I might as well get a guitar game package as well. Now correct me if im wrong, rockband 1 comes with a wireless guitar as well as rockband 2. Personally Ive only played rockband 1 and the songs on there are kick ass. Also I have played guitar hero 3 to the completion (LOVED IT) So thats another thing…also I havent played rockband 2 so I dont know if the track list is as good as rockband 1 (if it has all the songs of rock band 1 then im SOLD) So help me out here. Im pretty sure most people will say rock band 2 unless you agree that the track list on 1 is just awesome but all opinions appreciated!
